Fantasia Friday!

Pictured is one of the many Disney, snow globes I’ve designed for the Disney Stores over the years. This one was for Fantasia. But, my favorite part of this particular globe? The baby pegasus sitting on Chernabog’s shoulder. So cute. ;)

DISNEY FUN FACT- FRANK THOMAS AND OLLIE JOHNSTON

Towards the end of Pixar’s The Incredibles, there are two old men that exclaim, “That’s old school.” as the other replies, “Now that’s the way you do it.”. This is a tribute to a pair that were inseparable icons in Disney’s history Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston.

These two were a part of the original “Nine Old Men”, Disney’s core animators that stuck with the productions from Snow White to The Rescuers. Both of the animators voiced their own parts, but Frank passed away before he could see the final product.
Frank was the last of the “Nine Old Men” to pass away in 2008.
